ProSam 10 Sampling Valve

Process Sampler.

An extraction valve to obtain a “representative” sample from a pulp and paper process line.

The ProSam 10 eases non-biased sample collection of pulp for laboratory analysis and transmitter calibration.  The ProSam 10 design reduces risk of exposure to harsh process conditions that may accompany the sample extraction. The design and mounting eliminates dewatering of the samples The ProSam 10 is manufactured in USA.

The ProSam 10 is designed to be used in screened pulp only, without shives or debris, for 0 to 7%.  The handle and  spring assembly enables convenient, adjustable open/close action. ProSam 10 piston forms a metal to metal seal for long life durability. ProSam 10 is mounted through a 1 1/2” NPT cou-pling that is welded on the process pipe

In a location where a reprentative sample can be obtained, the ProSam sampler head is mounted inside stock line, by-passing the water layer eliminating sample dewatering.  Internal components of the valve can be flushed with water after sample has been taken. Flushing prevents build up or plugging in the sample valve and reduces errors in subsequent sample extractions.  The ProSam 10, is inserted approximately 24 inches downstream of the measuring transmitter.
